I set out this morning to get much accomplished. First priority: clean up those email messages. Hours have passed and I'm no further along than when I started. It's days like this when I'm sure I could power off this computer and never look back.
Last week I was elated to know that my favorite group had consolidated all it's emails into one place.... no more opening 30 emails a week (those are just the ones that interest me). I immediately signed up for that thinking it would be easy. My mistake. I wasn't able to access the group this morning, and I'm sure you would not be surprised that the "help" button was not helpful.
All I had to do was type the encrypted message and hit submit. How difficult can that be? That is, provided you can READ the encrypted letters. Red, wavy, large and small.... letters? Yes, some looked like letters, and perhaps some were symbols. No way could I read it, so I clicked for a new encrypted string. The new one was not much better, so I clicked again. This time the "handicapped" symbol appeared next to the encryption. Yes! That would be me (even if just for this moment). Cursuring over the handicap symbol told me I could HEAR the letters and type. WOW!!! This solved the problem... a clever option indeed. I clicked and waited.... and waited... and then...what I heard resulted in me creating this blog.
Perhaps it was a room full of people, perhaps it was many recordings combined into one, perhaps the audio needed decoding. Don't know why I found myself listening to a collage of voices in a variety of languages (none of them which I spoke) uttering strings of numbers and letters I could not understand. The recording made my little dog bark in a shrill I've never heard before. My patience was being tested, but I tried to keep a good attitude. I still need the information contained in the links I was trying to get to, but I'll try again later.
As I write, life unfolds and I see that some of my relationships with people seem to be encrypted chaos. It's not what I choose. It's just what it is. In all these relations, I pray that God gives me the instruction to decode the encryption... to give me the will to keep trying... to keep me humble enough to recognize I am, in all ways, handicapped, without Him.
